ALWAYS INSIST FOR A BILL TO AVOID ENCOURAGING CORRUPTION

(The catering staff has become corrupt because of your negligence, and you not insisting for bill by taking everything for granted. If you are not a part of the solution, then you are a part of the problem)

In their own interest, passengers are requested not to patronize unauthorized hawkers/vendors.

To ensure proper and good quality catering services on the Railway, passengers are requested to :-

  1. Place their orders for Meals well in advance with the Coach Attendant/ Conductor or Waiters in trains to facilitate information being sent to the serving station.

  2. Insist on a cash memo for all catering services ordered and destroy the bill to prevent its fraudulent use.

  3. Consult the menu and tariff cards displayed or available in all restaurants refreshment rooms and pantry cars.

  4. Record their suggestions or complaints in the book maintained for this purpose in the refreshment rooms. The complaint book is also available with the train conductor and also with the pantry car manager. It may be called for at any time by the passengers.

If you have any serious complaints regarding unhygienic food, high prices, or bad behavior of pantry staff, please send a complaint to the railway authorities.
